ICIM Arad managed home premiere

Home premiere for silver team of last CEWL season was successful. ICIM Arad beat Piestanske Cajky 78:72. But Slovak team showed on the court of the favorite really nice performance and could think of victory to the end of game.

ICIM Arad was better in the shooting percentage of two points goals and free throws. It was the main reason of their victory. Piestanske Cajky were better in statistics like assists (21 – 13), rebounds (35 – 32) or steals (10 – 12). Key player of home team was Laura Broomfield with 14 points and 9 rebounds (VAL 24). All players of ICIM Arad starting line-up scored double-figures.

Piestanske Cajky based on the performance of duo Stehlikova – Tatham. Both players ended the game with 21 poinst and validity 23. Stehlikova collected double-double, when she added 10 rebounds. Point guard Katerina Bartonova was very close to the double-double. She scored 10 points and added 9 assists, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, but 5 turnovers too.

Piestanske Cajky will play next week the first home game (against Ostrava), ICIM Arad will have day off.
