First two points in the new season for Kara Trutnov

The season 2014/15 of CEWL started with the Group A 2nd Round game between Rücon 2014 Spisska Nova Ves and Kara Trutnov. Trutnov decided about the victory in the second half after close first two quarters. It was the first game in current CEWL season for both teams. Trutnov continues now on the trip to title defenders C.S.U. Alba Iulia.

Dávid Demečko (coach of Spisska Nova Ves): “We have better team than Trutnov, I mean, despite we lost a lot. Our biggest problem were concentration, turnovers, and we allowed Trutnov a lot of free throwers. We should won the first half over 15 points, but it wasn't thru thanks bad shooting percentage. I know what our girls can do and I will ask the maximum all the time. It wasn't today's case.”

Jozef Rešetár (coach of Trutnov): “Team of Spisska Nova Ves surprised us active defense and it plagued us whole first half. Our win wasn't so clear what shows the result. We had more players to the rotation and it was our benefit in the second half. Players from the bench played very well in defense and offense too and home team didn't have enough energy to react.”
