The new season starts on November

The game between returnees Runcon 2014 Spisska Nova Ves and Kara Trutnov will open on Sunday 2nd of November the season in Central Women League.

Nine teams will take part in the upcoming season of CEWL. “We're happy that we can welcome this year four more teams. It is really good news for our competition and it means more opportunity to compete and to improve for all players. And it's the main goal of CEWL,” said CEWL Sportsdirector Zdenek Ringsmuth.

“We had to divide the field of nine teams to two groups. Unfortunately in one group will be only four teams and it means two games less,” added Zdenek Ringsmuth. Two best teams from both groups will take part on two days Final Four.

All teams, which played last yer, are in for the current season. The title will be defended by C.S.U. Alba Iulia. “I am very happy, that Alba Iulia will participate. All competition should have a team, which is defending title,” said Zdenek Ringsmuth. From Romania will play the traditional participant ICIM Arad too.

Slovak team Piestanske Cajky will be added by Rucon 2014 Spisska Nova Ves. The team from east Slovakia played CEWL two years before.

Austrian Flying Foxes SVS Post is the traditional and experienced member of our CEWL family. They will defend bronze medal.

Four teams are from Czech league. It was only Valosun KP Brno, who played CEWL. This year join Kara Trutnov (after one year), Basketball Nymburk and the newcomer of Czech league and CEWL too SBS Ostrava.
