One day later, same place, same opponents, another result. Univ. Goldis ICIM Arad played their “home” game in Vienna too, but this time won it. One day before surprised Flying Foxes SVS Post, when they beat title defenders by 20 points! This time it was more close game and Arad decided about their victory finally in last quarter. Before it led Romanian team only by four points. Flying Foxes missed Prerostiyska. She played only 4:35 and it was maybe the key factor, because Arad ruled in the paint – rebounds 56:33, point in the paint 38:26.

SBK Samorin - Univ. Goldis ICIM Arad 61:82 (17:15; 36:42; 47:66)

Bartánusová 13, Mračnová 11, Slámová 11, Vyňuchalová 10, Hašková 8, Feketeová 4, Sarmanyová 2, Theiner 2, Slimakova 0, Šústová 0 - Reid 19, Dyer 17, McCarthy 17, Gill 10, Karakasevic 6, Nagy 6, Laza 4, Stoenescu 3, Manea 0

Arad continued on the trip to Slovakia to play against SBK Samorin. First quarter won Samorin by two points, but then Arad showed the power and next two quarters won by 21 points 51:30. It was the same situation like a day before in Vienna – Arad ruled in the paint (rebounds 32:17, points in the paint 58:30). Very interesting fact was, that home Samorin did not shot any free throw. Arad made only 10 personal fouls and did not give home team chance to score easy points from free throw line.
